Absolutely terrible hotel. I booked this hotel in advance and paid in full for the entire weekend. I went myself to check in as I had booked this room for my sons as we had a family gathering this weekend in the area so it seemed perfect. This could not be further from the truth when my boys arrived they were told there was no booking and had no room for them. (Even though I’d been in person an hour earlier and was told the keys would be waiting for them behind the desk)! ) Then after humiliating them in the reception they miraculously found something and very sheepishly said they could offer them a back up room for the night and would be moved into another room the following day. It was all just a complete mess they were put in a room with a single bed so one of my sons checked into another hotel in the area as it was too much and no one was helping in anyway. There was no manager and the receptionist was not willing to give any name for any manager or anyone of any authority. She was extremely rude and aggressive and did not care less about how the boys were treated. Is all she said was put your complaint in writing and email us. Totally unprofessional on every level I would never recommend anyone stay here if that’s how they treat their customers.

Whilst the bed was vary comfortable and the room clean unfortunately we were allocated room 2 which is above the area where a wedding disco was being held till 1 am, subsequent to which a drunk guest made her way very noisily to bed. Surely the bedrooms most likely to be badly affected by a wedding disco should be allocated to the wedding attendees?

Modern rooms with large bathroom and bath tub. Wifi worked well also. Check in was not very friendly. No fridge in room and bathroom door had a hole in it like it had been punched in by someone.

One night stay for drinks round cottingham
Stayed one night on saturday 3rd august as a couple for £61 , plus £9.50 each for a buffet breakfast which was very good , had cereal and cooked hot options (full english)! 😃 The room was good spacious with walk in wardrobe and safe ! Fan and tv and drinks tray for tea and coffee ! Huge comfy bed only thing negative is rhat the room was looking a little tired( dated) other than that couldnt fault anything!

Cool stay at Lazaat
Stayed 2 nights during a mini heatwave but excellent fan in the room kept it cool for sleeping. Plenty of room for clothes, toiletries etc., and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast which was also very good. My only suggestion would be to provide larger cups or even mugs for making tea/coffee.

Second visit
This is my second stay at this hotel. It is comfortable and well presented. I have not used the facilities it offers but other reviews are complimentary. It suits my needs. I will definitely use the hotel again.

Restaurant was not fully functional but the limited menu iyems were very good. Rooms were exceptional. Pillows and tub/shower could be upgraded.
