"We stayed here for 4 nights. Isabel greeted us when we arrived and we saw her every day we were there. She is so sweet and always smiling. Breakfast was delicious, a wide variety to choose from. And there's cake! I love cake at breakfast. There was also cake in the afternoon. You're walking so much you can have cake anytime you want! Our room had a queen bed, view of the river, nice bathroom with walk-in shower and was quiet at night (even on Halloween and during the marathon). The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to the waterfront. We walked to Gaia across the river. We walked up many hills! Really enjoyed Porto. everyone is friendly. So much to see."

"It was only a short overnight stay, but a great choice of hotel. Admittedly a little pricey for around 17 hours, and the only time in the hotel was for sleep. However, it can't be denied that this is a top class hotel, not a budget one. It should be noted that there's currently work going on around the hotel - I think it's to do with a metro extension, BUT it wasn't noticeable from inside. There are 2 metro stations very close by. The hotel is beautiful inside, and the staff were very helpful. No complaints at all."
