"We paid a good price for this hotel during golden week and it was much more affordable than other options. The property is well located right in front of the tombolo and less than a 10 minute walk to the local shop/restaurants so we were pleased. There’s a public onsen at the hotel which is the main attraction but we opted to pay 3000 yen for 45 minutes in the private onsen which was nice. "Tokyu Hotel is a known hotel chain in Japan. The hotel was an older property. The outside hot bath was nice with ocean view and breakfast buffet was nice with many options. The overall property was well maintained. Staff was courteous."

"The location & private onsen were the only positives to this hotel stay. The area is beautiful and fun to explore if you rent a bike for the day! This hotel however was dirty & uncomfortable. Prepare yourself for stairs because there are no elevators. The room we stayed in had mold behind the tub (the tub was not sealed so the wall behind was getting wet). The shower curtain was moldy. "Soaking in the outside bath with a view of Mt. Fuji, eating above average meals are the highlights. The staff, what few of them there are, seem to play multiple roles and do not engage with the guests. There are foreign staff but little to no English is spoken.
