"The staff at the Troya Hotel Balat were kind and welcoming. I had a third floor sea view room with a great view. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Lovely little neighborhood walking distance to shops, dining, the colored balat homes, a park along the water and Fatih Mosque. "

"Great breakfast and fast wifi with clean and comfortable beds. Seevice was best in class. Nearby mosque, museum and palace were great too. We stayed there 1 year and half ago with Gate1 and liked it. This is pir second visit and would do it agsin."

"Very clean facilities and a very modern room. The gym was very small and there was no pool, however for the price you pay it is definitely worth it as many other hotels are more expensive for something of the same standard. The location was perfect as there is a bus stop and tram stop right outside the hotel which is very convenient for travelling around the city and is also very frequently available but can get crowded but that is to be expected in such a big city. "We stayed there 5 nights. They immediately greeted and offeredu cappicino and hot cocoa and cookies which they brought to our room several times throughout our stay. The breakfast is outstanding. The offered to make us omelets which werent on buffet. Kind friendly and superior service with affordable price. Would definately nook again. "

"Love the location, very clean for a Budget Hotel,part from one Staff member and the worst Breakfast of any Hotel I ever stayed in, the rooms very small,bit noisy from the seagalls, Shower is very slippery from gloss tiles,hair dryer was out of order and given another hand held one, sewage stench was filling the shwer room."

"This turned out to be the perfect spot . We needed to spend some of our time futher west (got there by taxi) but also wanted the convenience to see the sights in the afternoons so it was a perfect option . Situated just 2 mins from the main tramline ✅✅✅ into Sultanamet Just a short 2 mins walk - There are lots modestly priced restaurants just at the adjacent road, plus a supermarket too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its very clean and well maintained. 24 hr desk , great a/c "

"My husband and I stayed in a deluxe Bosphorus bridge view room on the 10th floor for 2 nights. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were helpful and the room price was reasonable. The hotel is close to many restaurants. The Bosphorus yacht cruise (Velena Travel) recommended by the concierge was great. We also enjoyed the delicious Turkish coffee and sweets which were served while we were waiting for a taxi to the airport after checking out. Thank you. I would definitely recommend Divan if you want to stay in Istanbul’s New City. "
