All the staff were a credit to the establishment so friendly and helpful. lovely room with a balcony. it is an old building which is part of its charm, the balcony area needed a bit of tlc, the room however was lovely and a really comfy bed. would return in a heartbeat"

"Room on 4th floor with a sea view. Bed was comfortable, room we would call, shabby chic, could do with another chair. Towels lovely & white. We have stayed here quite a lot over times the years & are staying again in November. There are a few parking spaces but all were gone by 4pm on a Friday. Had to park in the seafront car park at a cost of £7.50 for 24 hours. We didn’t eat in the hotel. Ate in Forte’s Italian restaurant about 10 min walk from hotel, which was very good. Would recommend...

"Everything you need for a few nights stay. Walking distance to local shops, bars and the Abbey. Situated in tbe heart of 1066 country on the high street in Battle East Sussex. Only negitive, asked at the recepition about breakfast in the resurant, guy showed us a menu, asked him if he would recomended it he said NO they have only been doing breakfast a coupe of months and pointed us down the road onto the high street to bakery/cafe. "
