I rented a car from Nimes; I traveled Arles and St. Remy before I came to this hotel. The receptionist greeted me, and said, “I am the manager and owner of this property.” which I didn’t ask. He emphasized to close the property gate; otherwise, it would be trouble. He answered my questions, I felt like he was a little bit bossy. Later, I told I would park my car in the street. Then, I changed my mind to park in the property because I am not sure if the area is safe to park. (He told me, I can park in the property or on the street ) With that reason, I tried to park my car in the property. He asked me why I did not park on the street. The tone of his voice was offensive and rude to me in my perspective. He told me, since my parking skill is not good, park in the street. Also, he demanded me to carry my luggage to hotel after parking; others possibly would take the parking spot. So I said, I will unload my luggage first in the property then, I will park my car in the street. Next day morning, same guy was at the reception desk. He asked if I would like to the linens to be changed. So I said, I would liked to have more towels. He told me, “ You can’t take towel to the beach.” The way he talked me was nonsense, like I got caught on taking towels to the beach. So I told him, I even don’t think about bring hotel towel to the beach. Towel was thin.It was damp after using it last night, I wanted to use fresh one. Later he apologized me; offered free coffee. Unpleasant experience.
