The hotel is well located with a short walk to the Nice Ville Gare (train station), which was very convenient for us to go out and visit the small towns around the Nice. Our stay included the breakfast. We are a family of five. Everyone likes the breakfast.

Highly suitable for our needs in Nice.

Bedrooms simple but very clean and comfortable, excellent A/C and a tiny balcony to check the real temperature before heading out. No fridge or kettle, but you can take reusable glass bottles from reception and fill them with chilled or ambient filtered water, plus there is a hot water machine with paper cups - we would take a teabag each out for tge day and make tge tea when we returned. There is also a coffee machine you caan buy coffees from. Front desk staff always very professional and kind enough not to switch to English automatically. Breakfast buffet was adequate, a good mix of the usual suspects ( the fresh orange and grapefruit was really well prepared, no pith at all), a fresh orange juice machine was a nice touch, plus a range of teas with infusers. No hot dishes but you can boil eggs if you wish. Only a couple of negatives, at the weekend the staff were slow to clear the breakfast tables and restock the buffet. Also the floor in the lift and throughout the ground floor were really sticky, as people went to and fro to the buffet or reception you could hear their feet, no matter what footwear they had on. (It might be due to the complimentary popcorn and teas available at 4pm each day?) When we checked out it had been cleaned and no sticky noises!

Good location close to the train station and not far from the main square. Breakfast is decent with a range of ham, cheese, breads, yogurt, fruits etc. Fresh orange juice is a nice bonus. The rooms are simple but clean. The bathroom had an odd design with the shower in the dark. No kettle in the room, coffee and tea is chargeable in the lobby except during breakfast. Ice tea and popcorn was a nice touch to have in the lobby after 4pm. Good WiFi. Be aware that the plug sockets require a euro convertor plug that has a hole in it. The room cleaning regime could be better, we had cleaners knocking several times including on the morning of checkout which made no sense.
