"Lovely historic building and grounds in a peaceful location. The restaurant food is excellent and very good value for money. The tudor main hall with a gallery is very impressive. The staff were professional and accommodating.
The only thing I found a little odd is the bedroom and corridor decor which isn't in keeping with the rest of the building and in need of some refurbishment especially the carpet. However this would not stop me returning or recommending this hotel. "
"Lovely room clean and tidy
friendly helpful staff . Then best steak and ale pie we have had
Only thing was poached eggs on both days where overcookrd at breakfast .
We would stay again "
"Stunning views to Pendle Hill from our room, friendly staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast. This was a much-needed short getaway and, with a great day’s walking today during which we hardly saw soul, was everything we’d hoped for. We will return. "
"Nick's greeting upon arrival was great, he was very friendly and had some good informaton about the area.
Rooms were perfect and spotless, everything good."

"Very convenient for Tesla open to all chargers on the holiday inn car park. Sagar Indian restaurant 5 mins drive is great. Comfortable stop for Liverpool and Manchester."
"We booked the rooms to be close to the hopsital. Perfect location for visiting family
Confy beds,
Just not enough towels in the family room,
Had to get a extra towel out of a relatives room
Other than that, it was a comfortable stay"
