"My experience has always been great. But, on this visit, the downstairs gill was not up to standards. I ordered a burger and fries. Thinking it would be handmade and tasty. It was a frozen patty dry with no taste. The fries needed seasoned too. Very sad that this happened. I have eaten at the grill several times with my stay and the food has always been good. New cook? "I cant say anything bad really except the drink machine was empty. Otherwise i got what i expected and it was what my family needed for the night. I am grateful we had lodging and they dont claim to be a 5 star hotel. So we were happy with our stay. We had power, a clean room and hot water. "

"Unfortunately, the elevator was out, and I had to carry a cooler multiple times to the third floor, but other than that the staff was fantastic and breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had in our six weeks since Helene displaced us. Surprisingly, even better than when we stayed at the Hilton downtown Anderson. Staff very helpful seeing if food was safe for the kids allergies. "

"It's a good place to sleep. Staff was friendly. Room was adequate for sleeping purposes. It's not near much, so don't plan on going anywhere if you stay here. But for me, who just needed an inexpensive place to sleep, it was fine."
