It was not the expected specially for the high cost of it, no daily cleaning of rooms, not enough or good place to put bags and clothes, it was an office desks instead of a closet. At the lobby a coffee station with instant coffee says a lot.... and in the first floor public areas the smell of marihuana is disgusting. I chosed th3 hotel without knowing anything,just because it was really close from Jacob Javits Center, bad choice.

First of all, the hotel was hard to get to as it was labeled boutique. No where does it warn you about this. They literally have a printed out sheet with a word document taped to the door of the hotel. I felt uneasy even just checking in. It gets worse though!! We get to our room and it has windows facing the outside of the door instead of facing outside of the hotel. The blinds were super thin and this meant that if you are walking the halls you can see everything! You can literally peer into the room with minimal light and see everything that’s happening. There is no privacy and for this reason not enough safety in staying here. ALSO!! Extremely early in the morning, a man knocked on the hotel room next to ours and said “housekeeping”. Who does housekeeping stuff at 8 AM? Especially on a Sunday? We found this awfully suspicious. To make things worse, this same middle aged, white man, was a peeping Tom. He looked through the window twice. He thought I was alone but ran off before we could confront him once he saw my boyfriend. Thank God I was not alone. I will contact the manager to get the surveillance of my stay.

Property was okay. No sign - it must've been a boutique before a hotel. Security guard came out to tell me I was in the right place. Room was a little dirty. There were amenities not included - no hairdryer, no safe, no iron. ~5 minutes walk from the subway.
