"We loved our overnight getaway! The Inn is charming, peaceful, and private. The staff was friendly and made sure our needs were met. It really felt like home away from home-home without having chores or errands to do, just relax. "The Motel was very inviting and very quiet. Loved the easy access to the room and ease of taking dog outside. Didn't love the location - Travelocity said it was 9.57 miles from Stratton Mountain - the drive was actually 33 minutes. Breakfast was exceptionally light (toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit) with no orange juice on the last morning. The good far outweighed the bad - the bed was super comfy and the water pressure in the shower outstanding."

"We spent several nights at this lovely Victorian era inn in the "Otto Room". The mattress was very comfortable. The shower could use an update and water temperatures fluctuated but had good water pressure. We loved the working fireplace but would have preferred real wood to the duraflame (which is not good for chimneys either as it deposits residues over time that clog chimneys). One could hear the neighbors through the doors a bit - as one would expect from a Victorian aged structure- but did...

Beautiful hotel with nice amenities and pet friend

"Lovely hotel. We stayed here second time and will definitely come back again. We enjoyed the premises which is pet friendly and superb for our cat to stay with us in hotel room. We (with our cat) enjoyed our hotel room which was spacious, clean and had a lovely view of the mountains which was special to see on cold days with snow outside. We stayed three days two nights and appreciated the slightly earlier check-in accommodated to us. It was also nice to have the free coffee in mornings and drink vouchers in evenings with snacks (nice touch). The staff are friendly and warm. In room amenities are superb but just found it odd that we have to request kettle or coffee machine and room doesnt have it. Also would be great if there was microwave in room. The shower was nice but the knobs were slightly tricky to work it. There was no drinking water provided in room which would have been nice if 1-2 bottles. The bed was comfortable and clean. The location of hotel was superb, close to main city center while in quiet area. We liked that we were only few minutes out from many ski destinations- perfect for winter trip. The hotel has nice amenities with beautiful lounge area with fireplace as well as great restaurant. Although we found the food at the restaurant quality had dropped from last year and was very very pricy ($50 per person without drinks plus tips). We like the fact that the staff and hotel is friendly for our cat which we really appreciate and hope to come back again soon! "
