"Our stay was great. The only issue we had was one of the evenings the owner had a party in the building’s banquet room and it was extremely loud. Like loud music with a lot of bass and it was right below our room. "

"The Alpine Inn makes traveling with pets really easy by providing plenty of outdoor green space to walk them which we really appreciated. The motel itself is older and so while it’s clearly well taken care of there remain a few areas that need a little sprucing up but despite that, it oozes charm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location being within less than a 5 mile drive from everything. We’ll stay again next time we’re in Nelson. "

"Lovely room, cool design - reminded me of old Montreal style, with the brick wall and high ceilings. Very spacious. 2 bathrooms! Lady who checked us in (manager, I think) was just lovely, very friendly, helpful and informative. Great location, with cafes, restaurants and shopping close by. Clean on the surface. Just don't look under the bed, or too closely at the vents. Apparently very rarely cleaned! The man I spoke to on the phone to book initially wasn't very customer oriented, friendly or...
