"Great location with several dining options. Quick drive to Taormina or Naxos beach. Beach is a little too rocky for small children but we anticipated that. Hotel staff were very helpful and parking is monitored just a down the street. "

"Loved it! Probably the best value for your money. Conveniently located if you want to tour Taormina, a 15 minute drive to Lumbi parking lot from where you can get a free bus ride to Taormina. Amazing breakfast, super clean, and friendly service. A bit hard to find as the reception of the hotel is kind of hidden in a semi basement entrance within a building complex that can be very busy during peak season (summer). Walking distance from the beach. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. "

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. "Loved the property. But gaining entrance was problematic. The front gate/entryway is pedestrian only which we did not know beforehand. And that's where Google maps dumps you. You need to go to the parking lot (parcheggio) down the road from the main entrance and be buzzed in to the lot by the front desk. But no one tells you that. And the sign for the lot is small. So beware."
