"Very friendly owners, arrived at night there was heavy rain but got picked up from the airport promptly. Because of the weather event I couldn’t go out for dinner so they offered to prepare something to eat for me. The room is basic but clean and for the price excellent value. "

"Very good stay, staff and food were great, the room was fine but the bed could have been a little more comfy/bathroom was austere, so for a first spot after a long long flight the room could have been a little comfier in hindsight for our needs. Great courtyard, easy access to all of Negombo, quiet setting away from any crowds."

"The host family is amazimg. The owner Denish is nice. His wife is beautiful and kind. She gave me a nice bracelet. And their daughter is charming. Heartwarmimg stay."

"We stayed here for 1 night, we arrived at 6 am and our room was booked for the night, but we were lucky and wer able to check in early and get some extra sleep after a long flight. The amenities were amazing, and the staff incredibly kind. Also breakfast was Very good!! I loved that The bed sheets smelled so clean - Everything was Super!"

"Litet trevligt hotell med mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Vårat rum var stort med de bekvämligheter som behövs. Dock ingen städning av rummet de 3 nätter vi bodde där."

"We stayed here few times. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants and beach. Wifi had problems on some days. The staff tried to do their best to sort this. Overall nice place. "

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. Be aware of beach salesmen. Would recommend this hotel."

"Quiet area quite far from the heart of Negombo, didn’t feel the safest here as a solo traveller. Staff were happy to help me with a transfer from the airport quite late at night which was nice. Breakfast included is quite basic. "

"Had a week to kill while waiting for my partner to arrive. Perfect place to do it. Absolutely lovely staff. Good size room and decent bathroom. No complaints. "

"Liked: beachfront location with a swimming pool right on the beach, coconut trees and sundecks at the pool area, friendly and attentive staff, strong shower with hot enough water, working AC and ceiling fan, switches next to bed, charging ports next to bed, hairdryer received upon request, early check in and late check out (both at noon, instead of later and earlier), simple but sufficient included breakfast set (coffee or tea pot, cut fruits or fruit juice, toast with butter and jam, sausages...

"The place was in complete renovation or reconstruction or whatever... it was not available for any reservation. I don’t know why it’s available on Expedia ! Hopefully, the staff-guy who received me in the middle of the night helped me to find a place (everything was closed). So, I cannot say more about this Guesthouse."

"I'm a competitive swimmer. This hotel has a 100 meter pool with crystal clear water. I was in heaven. The rooms were awesome. The view from our room was fantastic. The bathrooms are uniquely designed. The only downside was a very limited menu at the restaurant"

Friendly, warm, clean

"Great greating by the friendly staff of this guesthouse even if I arrived late. They couldn't find my reservation but found me an available room. Nice clean spacious room. The window had a view to a wall in little hallway. Had a good meal at the resto on the porch. Nicely located ditectly on beach. Very nice outdoor space bohemian syle with lots of sitting area. "

"I really enjoyed how relaxed the Camelot Beach Hotel was. The staff were all very friendly, the room was comfortable and the restaurant had a nice buffet. Of course the beach was lovely, this was a great place to stay at the end of my trip to Sri Lanka - it was nice to have some relaxing walks on the beach prior to me long journey home :) I would definitely stay here again."
