"Casa Anabela was our home base while in Ecuador, we stayed there on 5 separate occasions and were so glad we did! The location is great in Old Quito, within walking distance to many restaurants. "Fantastic customer service, Freddy from the front desk reached out early to see if I needed anything. He arranged an airport transfer for me. Even going as far as sending me a picture of the car that will be picking me up. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. "I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Quito - a short walk to the Basilica and the old town. The breakfast was great, your choice of eggs and the best coffee! The restaurant also serves dinner prepared in traditional style. Well worth taking the opportunity to dine here as well. We had a late arrival and the hotel arranged for a taxi for us on arrival. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Really didn’t want to say anything bad about the place because the staff were so nice. Unfortunately there are a few things wrong with this hotel. The biggest problem was that it sometimes smelled of smoke, we asked to move rooms after the first night and the new bedroom was better but still a faint trace of smoke.
