"Ok. So where do we begin. This is one of the nicest hotels anywhere (it does have a lot of awards) but then the A/C on the room does not work... After calling every four hours they send somebody who pretends to do something and you are back to begging for a colder weather so you don't have to sleep on whatever ambient temperature the city decides to throw at you. So my question is: Why invest in one of the best hotels in the world only to save some bucks on the A/C? Seriously?"

"The room is clean and big but you can smell smoke even if it is a no smoking hotel. Breakfast option is limited and service is not that good (food was left on table when customers leave and no staff clean up tables)"

"All was dirty. Rooms and bathrooms, cabinets, shower, ALL!!! Blankets and sheets clean Rooms really small, only 3 chairs for all. Many roaches in the kitchen. No plates, cups noting. Old shoes in the cabinets. ;-("

"The hotel is quite new. Around 10min walk from train station, not too far, yet a quiet area. Nearby train station has a lot of food stalls and walking distance to shopping mall."

"The room was especially comfortable, I have been on beds in China that were hard, but this was very comfortable, the staff was extremely professional, courteous, and pleasant. Plus, many of the staff spoke English, which was especially good for us. Special shout out to Yolanda and Joy who made our stay special."

"Staff was incredibly kind. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Hotel had limited room service (and limited western food options). Room temperature could not get lower than 75F, which was uncomfortably warm. Hotel needs to update some of the decor but overall a good stay. Will likely try another hotel for future trips, hoping for better food and room temperature regulation. "

"Amazing hotel!!! The staff really made it great especially the lady that was cleaning my room. I rated it 3 stars for the area around the property because I feel like the location would be better as it was a bit far from everything, the Mixc mall kind of made up for it but personally I would have liked it better if it was closer to central, or on the other side near the Shanghai Towers. I liked how there was privacy and it was not a busy hotel "
