Scooter rental available onsite - likely to get charged for minor scrapes and dings upon return. The cash deposit (chose this instead of leaving passport with them) was 7000 baht and got maybe 1000 baht back. "

"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring.
