Very antique setting, awesome food. Staffs are very nice. Pay attention to the hot springs. Only “medicine hot springs” are the natural ones. The others are just hot water.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Hotel is breath-taking and truly is a time portal to another era while still having modern necessities and comforts. Strongly recommend seeing this hotel at least once. 5/5 love!
Both The breakfast and dinner are extremely delicious and special with the traditional Japanese taste. The ingredients are fresh and good quality and delicately prepared by the highly skillful chefs. What a wonderful experience. The room is clean, onsen is comfortable and special with the view of the adjacent river. Staffs are very helpful . Don’t miss the museum inside the hotel which got lots of collections and definitely worth taking a look. The only disadvantage is the location which is very far away from the tourist site . The road is quite difficult to drive . I made some mistake and take some time to reach the hotel and almost missed the dinner. Remember to have extra traveling time to get to the hotel
Nice place for relax. There was no any activity program in the hotel besides Spa. The outdoor spa was amazing, it is just in front of a water fall.Organic and delicous food, mostly from local farm.
The best stay period is 3 over nights.
