"This is one of the older inns on Miyajima; however, the dedication of the staff, and the service and kindness they provided is top notch. In a way, this is not particularly unusual in Japan, where especially the older institutions still provide service and consideration far above expectation. "Excellent Japanese style breakfast included 👍. Very quiet environment. Extremely comfortable bedding. Very roomy baths. Very good ryokan experience. Miyajima is quiet during off season so beware of the fact that it gets dark early and many close by restaurants were closed (early?). The shopping area near the small ferry building stays open and we were happy to have found a few restaurants that were opened for business after 5 pm. We had a great oyster dinner at Kakiya. "

"格式張った感じはしませんが、快適に過ごせました。大浴場も客室も清潔で必要な物は揃っていたと思います。客室の窓には障子があり、遮光カーテンはありませんでしたが、窓とベッドの間にブラインドが下ろせるようにしてあったため、眩しい等の問題はなかったです。ビュッフェスタイルの食事は、品数が豊富で素材が良く、どれを食べても美味しかったです。夕食時にはアルコール類も追加料金不要で提供され、スウィーツ系デザートも種類が豊富でした。また、朝食のフレンチトーストも美味しかったです。"

"Doesn’t have all your amenities (gym, etc) and you have to pick up your own thing like coffee and stuff from the first or top floors, and the decor and feel is contemporary. BUT, great place to stay. Super clean. Large-ish rooms. Breakfast buffet is western and most excellently done. Hassei, the okonomiyaki dive, the one you want to go to, is a few Japanese blocks away. It’s a cab ride from the train station, a hop and a skip away from the Peace Memorial (where you must spend a half day of your visit there…). English works well. Staff are super kind. Worth giving it a try. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Nest Hotel. Very clean and neat premises with a warm atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. The room itself was clean and the bed a very generous size and super comfortable. The Nest Hotel Hatchobori is in an excellent location too. In short, I loved this place and would recommend it very highly. "

"Fantastic hotel and service. You will immediately feel the warmth of this place the moment you first step onto the property and greeted by the front concierge woman. The women that checked us in was absolutely perfect for this position. She was caring, spoke very good english, and even upgraded our room to a world class ocean view room. I would only stay at this hotel if i'm in Hiroshima again."

"Hiroshima’s downtown is extremely busy and parking is a premium. Taxis are a better option. This hotel is an excellent option at an affordable cost. I highly recommend it. Go to breakfast as soon as they open to get a choice table near the window. "

"Great stay to explore Hiroshima. Hotel was clean and had all amenities needed. Staff friendly and approachable. Check in easy. Breakfast was really lovely - a mixture of options and friendly service too. Short walk to the museum and peace gardens and plenty of nearby busses/trams to other tourist spots locally - really recommend taking a trip to Miyajima island if you can fit it in "
