I think there are only two twin rooms per floor, so we were across the corridor from each other which was convenient. "I would give 6 stars if I could. The hotel room and lobby areas are spotless. Staff are also very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast was tasty and wonderful. You get to store your luggage for free for the day of check in and check out so you could go sightsee carefree. Amenities include PJs, coffee, tea, toiletries, etc. Overall very very satisfied with our stay. We also got a water view room so that was a bonus. "

"Huge rooms with beautiful views and an onsite Japanese garden super close to the monorail station connecting to the JR Kokura train station and other destinations. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The retro feel of the rooms may be a selling point to those who like that however. "

The rooms were bigger than we expected and included a built-in desk and chair, a tiny fridge and a kettle. The buffet breakfast (included) was fantastic. Traditional Japanese breakfast including fish, rice and salad, but also croissants, pastries and sometimes yoghurt. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. They had a print out of the hotel information in English. The hotel was an easy walk from Yukuhashi train station (roughly 400m) and was located near bars and restaurants (but not noisy). "
