"Online, it said that the front desk staff would be there until 10pm. We arrived at 8:56 p.m.,and there was no one. The hotel was locked, and we weren't able to go inside or check in. We tried every form of getting ahold of someone to no avail. I ended up having to book a new hotel after trying for about 40 minutes. "

"What I really enjoyed was the cleanliness of the place. The cleaning lady was fantastic! Extra attention to detail! No storage space in the bathroom! Extension cord in the bedroom absolutely necessary !"

"Saubere, gemütliche Ferienwohnung die mit allem nötigen ausgestattet ist. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. In knapp 10Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Innenstadt. Konnten immer ganz in der Nähe parken. Die Straßenbahn ist gleich um die Ecke sowie ein Supermarkt. Falls wir wieder nach Bochum kommen buchen wir wieder in der Metzstraße!"

"Great for an easy overnight stay. Friend and I just needed a bed for our trip to see a Dortmund game. 24 hour check in and free parking as long as you leave early enough in the morning. That was the option cause the hotel lot was full."

"This would be a 5-star property except for one glaring problem: the parking garage is not large enough for registered guests. If you show up to register late or return from a late dinner, you are locked out. The call button will say park 0.3 miles away in a park on the street until 9am then move or get charged by lot owner. Daunting task for someone with lots of luggage or mobility issues unaware of the area. If handicapped, choose a different hotel. "

"The hotel is actually split across two seperate buildings. This isn’t a problem but something that’s not obvious from their website. The room was clean and comfortable. But no tea/coffee, fridge, iron, or air con! Not a problem in October but might be in summer! Functional but certainly no more. Benefit is very close to Hauptbahnhof. If you need a simple but comfortable option, this is it. "

"Modern design-style hotel with good sized rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. In the area there's a good selection of restaurants from Greek to traditional German. My only negative was the tiny bathroom in a room designed for 4. I'm not sure who designed this, but they need to have another think. A minor point otherwise as it's a good hotel."
