"The hotel has recently been created from an old schoolhouse and they have done a beautiful job. The entire place is immaculate and nicely appointed. There is a bar and restaurant on site which also has a buffet breakfast available. Staff was helpful and friendly. We have family in Schwelm so we will definitely stay here when we visit again and will encourage other family members to do the same."

Having called multiple times and never got a reply I got to the hotel at 10pm not knowing if I’d be able to check in or if I would have to find a last minute alternative. Wonderful Stay

"Had a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Dortmund. Very close proximity to Dortmund station & the city centre. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is new with a modern design. Rooms are as pictured & clean. Nice breakfast and bar area is a vibe playing deep house in the background all day. Would be my first choice if visiting Dortmund again. "
