"We loved Steam House. The room had real character and the location was great. There were 2 adults and 2 children and, even with 2 single beds and a queen size bed, plus our luggage, the room felt spacious and was well equipped. The breakfast provided was generous and certainly filled us up before we started the day. Steam House represented very good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a place to stay in Bologna. "

"I became extremely sick after arriving and the woman at the front desk was so helpful in getting me a hot meal from next door. I felt so taken care of and safe as a solo traveler abroad. The hotel is beautiful and in a convenient location. Breakfast is also a lovely experience with lots of offerings! "

"There are many positives to share and only one negative… On the plus side: the location is simply unbeatable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the included breakfast was fantastic. On the negative side- the room walls must be incredibly thin, as I could hear snoring every night from the room next door and when they were on the phone or using their TV it was as if we were sharing a room. I think I’d stay again because of all the positives, but I’m a light sleeper and it was a bit tough."

"This was definitely a unique property. It is in a very old building, located right in the piazza, with lots of dining options. We stayed in the Triple Room, on the top floor. There was a loft with another bedroom, but we did not use it. The Views from this room were unbelievable of the Churches and the rooftops. One of the best hotel views I have ever had. "This hotel is really well located in the centre, so it's easily walkable to everything you need and lots of major attractions, restaurants, food markets etc. The staff are the best aspect of the hotel, both in reception and in the dining areas. Breakfasts were good, and the hotel resturant menu looked excellent although we had already booked other restaurants for dinner. "Fabtastic location right next to the train station. Great communication with the Giorgi Homes / Wonderful Italy team via Whatsapp. The apartment worked perfectly for a shorter stay and the kitchen had basic equipment for cooking but no salt, pepper or oil though. "

"Very nice hostel, exceptionally clean. I do like when bathrooms are separate from the rooms. The toilets are very clean and nice water pressure, feels like a home. Staff is very attentive. Only stayed one night, but it was a good experience. Rooms were nice and facilities had a good vibe. Breakfast is simple but nice. The only issue is that they had no parking support, as advertised on the hostel profile. Parked at the train station and walked, which is not close but worked."
