"The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The views are amazing on the higher floors. The roof terrace is great for a relaxing drink and chill out. The location is superb. The food is extremely disappointing if you are expecting hot tasty food. Regardless of what time you go in for food it is always just warm. "We really enjoyed our stay at Melia Benidorm – It’s got a great feel to it with a lovely pool area, just a couple of minor issues. Housekeeping could have been a bit better, as used cups and glasses in the room weren’t washed or replaced regularly, and toilet rolls weren’t replenished until there was about 5 sheets left!. "I loved the hotel, it was beautiful. The staff were very helpful taking my mobility scooter backwards and forwards tonthe parking area. However i was disappointed and surprised that i had to pay €6 a day to park my scooter at the hotel and was not permitted to have in the hotel itself which was difficult to manage as i have very limited mobility and found it very difficult walking around such a large hotel without it."

"Nice hotel in very convenient location - short walk from the beach and loads of shops, bars and rstaurants nearby - easy 15 minute walk to the old town. Room was quite spacious with a very nice balcony. The buffet restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again."

"the breakfast buffet was excellent but the hot dinner buffet was not good at all,not enough meat and fish dishes food was not hot enough and no green vegetables except salad.It was also expensive at 25.euros.However the food in the restaurant was good although I would have liked some vegetables with my salmon.Xmas Eve Buffet was very good,. so they need to improve dinner buffet but I loved the hotel and would go back again and would recommend it to anyone.."

A great stay

"The location of the Hotel is excellent with great transport links to the airport. It is within easy walking distance to the sea, and has a wide variety of shops nearby. The room was very comfortable and had a lot of storage space. The breakfast was very good and I particularly liked the fact that you could get your breakfast from 0730 hours. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English - it was much better than my limited Spanish. When I come back to Alicante, I will again book this hotel. "
