" One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."

"This is a apartment with a small kitchenette. We were on ground floor with own outside door to small patio overlooking laid out grass area. Great for our 2 little dogs. Nice park next to building for walking dogs. Had a settee and tv. Staff pleasant and friendly. Wifi very good. Unfortunately plates in cupboard had not been washed from previous occupants or l would have given perfect score. Charged 7 euros for dogs. "

"Nice town to stop at. The place has obviously seen better days (probably before they built the Autoroute), but for the price it was fine. Clean, friendly with a bar and decent food. "Our stay at Chateau De Clusors was wonderful. Although only for one night as we traveled through France in the winter, it warm and very comfortable. The Challis room spacious. The bathroom was also very nice with all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast in the morning was quaint and deliciously French...the coffee was wonderful. Henri and Christine were the perfect hosts. I recommend the chateau to anyone traveling France. "
