"Fantastic resort and great accommodation. Staff were friendly and could not do enough. The only issue we had was the location. It’s listed as city centre but it is not. The map location is not correct. It’s around a 30 minute walk out of the centre. Due to a recent landslide, Taxis and the hotel shuttle have to take around a 20 minute diversion to get to and from town. The walk to town is not practical at night as the road is in darkness . Loved the hotel but had to use Taxi’s every night. These costed around a £5 a night from the market square to the Bridge where the landslide took place . The walk from the bridge is a further 400m but was better than the 25 minute diversion"

"Bisma Eight is truly an oasis of beauty and elegance located in the heart of Ubud centre. Outside is the usual busy ebb and flow of Bali but inside it is tranquil and extremely comfortable. We were treated to a very high standard of service throughout the stay and the staff were amazing. This is a highly recommended hotel and I would have no issues with staying here again."

"We went to Udaya for our honeymoon! We stayed at The Udaya for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Their spa was amazing (we did the couples rejuvenation massage with a flower bath), and they also offered so many in-house services which made our stay so enjoyable. We did multiple floating breakfasts at our private pool villa, we did the flower pool arrangement, enjoyed multiple meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at their restaurant - their food is AMAZING and some of the best we’ve had in Bali, we did the private candlelit dinner at the sky hut yoga area, and took advantage of their free shuttle service to downtown Ubud. Their staff was so friendly and sweet, we really enjoyed all our conversations with their staff and how well they treated guests. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest is comfortable and enjoying their stay! Pro tip for anyone visiting, we brought a lot of extra cash for tipping their staff. It’s not expected but went a long way and they were so deserving! Overall a 10/10 experience and will highly recommend to anyone visiting Ubud. Thank you Udaya for such a memorable honeymoon experience!"

"Superb service. Nice rooms with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast had good choices. Dinner menu of local dishes was not to our taste but there were ample American choices. Walking distance to many restaurants."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We learnt a lot and had a Wonderful experience. Beds were comfortable (very firm)) Which was good for me as I have a which was good for me as I have a bad back . Pillows were solid but soft. all amenities were provided in the room. There a few cafe bar And restaurant options. We enjoyed all the experiences. They also offered Experiences such as helicopter rides to the volcano And white water rafting. It is a fair trip from any other activities but we booked a driver for the day and got to experience rice patties, lewak coffee and we also went to the monkey Forest. Ubud Was only about half an hour drive away. X"

"Lovely welcoming staff. We stayed in a one bedroom terrace tree villa. Highly recommend the room. Good free daily shuttle service into Ubud centre. Monkeys are highly entertaining- just keep your distance:)"
