"My family and I stayed here because we were taking a cruise out of Trieste. The hotel was clean and very modern (I’m guessing recently updated). The staff were very friendly and several eateries are within walking distance. The cruise terminal is also within walking distance from the hotel so no need for a cab. It’s a short ride from the Trieste airport maybe 20/25 minutes at the cost at the time was about $85 Euros. "

But if you are just in Trieste overnight to catch a cruise you would be better staying in Trieste as this place is 20-30 minutes away from cruise port.
