"This was our 5th stay at Kimi Ora and it never fails to disappoint.Staff are lovely and we had a beautifully refurbished room with a stunning view.We would really love to keep it to ourselves but it is too good not to share.Love the estuary walk down to the beach and enjoy the widlife along the way. "There are people who stay there permanently, thus it felt more crowded than expected. Expect it to be way busier in summer months with the perms tourists. Had irresponsible people who didn't clean up their dishes and left it in the sink, food left untouched (for god knows how long) in the microwave toaster. "

"The hosts and accommodations were lovely. We left early our first morning for a day trip to Abel Tasman and Sally packed us a to go breakfast including homegrown tomatoes from her garden. I think they ordered up sunlight to stream into the breakfast room the next morning so it would shine on the locally grown fresh fruits. Way exceeded expectations. "
