"My family of 4 stayed at Hotel Paradox last year and got our family together for some family time, this year. We rented 3 rooms, during this trip. The staff here are friendly and professional. Some things worth considering... Our rooms were not ready at check-in, and an ADA approved room, which was requested and confirmed days before, was not available upon arrival. This made check in difficult for our matriarch. We also had 3 rooms in 3 different floors, which was ridiculous but at least we got our steps in each time we were visiting each other. Still, we enjoyed our stay and love that pets are welcome. There were always poop bags available, too. TMI, but it's appreciated. We also love the amenities. The pool heater was not working during some of our stay, but it was fixed in the nick of time. We also appreciate the safe space the lobby provided for everyone during the New Years countdown. We had 3 generations of very happy and safe people at Hotel Paradox. Thank you for your work and care. "

"Great location near old fisherman’s wharf. We went for a quick one night stay so it was perfect. I love staying at a different Monterey hotel until we find out forever one… our room was near the busy street and you could hear traffic/trucks going down the street. That’s probably the only thing I would do for next time, request one away from the street … although my children slept through it all! "

"Husband and I have stayed in this hotel maybe 6-7 times throughout the years. Beautiful, well maintained space and very kind workers! If we did have any complaints, one our own fault and another for corp. Our stay occurred weekend before Christmas and there were rowdy people loud, slamming doors in the hallways from about 7p-1:30a we could’ve called front desk but we didn’t… we went to sleep same time they quieted down @ 1:30a. 2nd complaint is, you DO now have to pay for parking! Why!? Nothing can be said to staff but WHY at upper management!"
