Location: the best place to stay if you want to visit Burg Eltz: it is a nice 30-40 minutes walk. The staff is very German. Make sure to arrive before 9pm -- they close the reception and don't answer the phone.

This hotel is definitely off the beaten path. Hotel room showed its age, but was clean. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast were very good. Great hiking to Burg Eltz directly from the hotel.

Great guest house.
This guest house was amazing, great location, plenty of free parking. My double room and on-suit were to a very high standard. Friendly staff and good evening menu and pay for breakfast. I will use this hotel again, great value and overall 10/10. A really great place.

Nice cosy place and helpful service. Breakfast was quite "poor" not a lot of choices. Dinner quite oily, the Bratkartoffeln were full of oil.

A really serene location on the edge of a forest, which would appeal to walkers. The room was cleaned every day we were there and the staff were helpful and pleasant. A really good buffet breakfast was provided. We had one meal at the hotel and it was excellent, local cuisine.

Hotel was in the quiet country. Rooms are good size for three people, staff was friendly, great breakfast. Area is quiet, with walking/ biking trails. No A/C in rooms, but did have a fan, mini fridge. We only started one night, but would book again.

The property was ideal for experiencing the local flavor and culture. It is situated on the trail head to Burg Eltz Castle - a 30 minute walk to the castle through the forest - beautiful. The staff were fantastic. Room was ready early. They have a restaurant on property that serves the best German food he had the entire trip. Breakfast was included and was amazing. The owner of the resort tended to our every need and even personally gave us a ride to the train station on the morning of departure.
