"Our check-in was perfect. There was no one staying here so we had the hotel to ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and there is very little road noise. The room needed a touch-up from housekeeping as there were dead flies in the bathroom and spiderwebs in the television area. There was a big hole behind the door in the bathroom and most of the lightbulbs above the sink were either burned out, missing or very dim."

"We fully enjoyed our stay at The Charleston. The 4 to 6 social is nice as well as the complimentary sodas. Breakfast was delicious. Owners were nice & polite along with the whole staff. My only issue was the bed was to hard for my liking but, my wife liked it. Only suggestion would be to add a curtain or shade to the window above the door as a lot of light comes through at night."

Room was clean & eco-friendly. Neither of the 2 beds in my room was particularly comfortable. Hotel is set up well to charge various devices. All in all, pretty good. Just wish the beds were more comfortable."

"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "
