Authentic Ryokans In Morioka

"Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"I wholeheartedly recommend this onsen to anyone visiting morioka, even if for a couple of nights only. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was the best we had experienced before in any hotel or onsen. We were picked up from the bus stop with a shuttle service run by the hotel, which was fantastic. We had booked the room with the private onsen and it was just perfect. "Fantastic ryokan, located in a very quiet countryside area. Lots of nature and birds. Very peaceful. You will need a car to get to this ryokan. The road to the ryokan is narrow. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel was beautiful and clean. Onsen was relaxing and food was delicious. The staff were very kind and attentive even though there was a slight language barrier. The location of the hotel is situated in the beautiful mountains with very easy access to Lake Tazawa. I would gladly return for another visit. "
