" We booked the Pines for 3 nights and we were both pleasantly surprised, it's a gem. The lodges are set around a tranquil lake and are easily accessible from the M6. The lodge was very clean and very well equipped, comfortable beds, quality bedding and towels and central heating. The staff were really friendly and informative. The bar area is relaxing and inviting, I cannot really comment on the quality of the food at the restaurant as the lodges are geared for self catering with extensive equipment, such as, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, everything you need is provided...so we didn't eat in the restaurant but did notice the menu prices seemed expensive. Obviously been so close to major roads we expected some noise from traffic, but it was minimal and the lodges are double glazed. We really enjoyed our stay😊 I'd definitely recommend giving the Pines a visit."

"Really friendly receptionist upon arrival. A few places left in the carpark which was a bonus. Room on 3rd floor but lift available if required. Wallpaper not my taste but fairly spacious room very clean and very warm. Breakfast freshly prepared to order; staff couldn't do enough to help. Very nice quiet bar with lively entertainment in a ballroom that wasn't for me. Really pleased - will be back next year!"

"I was fortunate to be able to stay at the amazing Ruskin Hotel Blackpool while filming at Blackpool Tower It was spotless decor of an extremely high standard room spacious with everything i needed. The staff were welcoming, went out of their way to help with things An example being due to not finishing to late at night i missed dinner so they plated salad bread dessert for me The hotel is fantastic but the staff make it even more so. They are a complete asset to this business Thank you Ruskin hotel for making me feel so special "
