"First holiday with our puppy and was nice to be able to get away to the country side with her. The property is lovely and finished to a high standard. The kitchen and bedroom are huge and the livingroom is very cozy. Very much appreciated the bottle of wine and brownies on arrival, was a very nice touch. "

"Nice hotel good location easy to get a bus to city centre breakfast was good we eat dinner one night it was ok my wife had dinner there before and said it was better before drinks at the bar a little bit expensive but it is a hotel i ordered half pint of lager shandy for my wife it was just under £5 for the drink this is taking the piss a bit but overall stay was good ew will stay there again "

Hotel & restaurant are different companies, Restaurant menu is quite small as it’s a small hotel tucked out of the way, but the food is really good quality for the price & it’s not too far to Stirling or Alva if you are staying for a long stay as we were, if you wanted to try something else. The hotel front of house staff/bar staff are very friendly & pleasant "

"Both members of staff were absolutely lovely and happy to help. The breakfast was good and the room was warm. The room is starting to need a bit of a refresh as the carpets and ceilings are worn, but its kept clean. It's great for the price. Its a little noisy with the pub next door so bring some earplugs. On hotel.com it says you need to ring 24 hours in advance but you don't. It opens when the pub opens that's all."
