This property can do with some TLC. I booked a king room with fireplace. The photos were deceiving. There was nothing hung on the walls, just bare white. Carpets very very dirty and old, shower had lingering hair. All furniture breaking and roughly used. Only saving grace was the bed. Unfortunately would not stay here again.

I especially like the room and bed looked clean. The staff members were friendly. Check in and out was easy. They made a mistake on the cost of the room but was corrected without fuss. The property is old but very clean.

We absolutely loved this place. The location couldn’t be beat, just down the block from the beach. The room was great, and we loved the balcony and fireplace. We could walk to the aquarium, to the piers, and to restaurants. A walking/biking trail was right below the property. We would look forward to staying here again.

The outside parking area smelt like throw up and urine. The carpeting in the hallways were dirty and smelt like urine. The bedding was not very clean and the mini fridge was also dirty. The bad smell from outside you could smell inside the room and smelled like urine and cigarette smoke. The photos they have posted were very misleading to the cleanliness of their rooms and location. I had to book a room somewhere else because I could not stay there with my children in those conditions.

The carpet smells terrible sorry, I ask supervisor about the terrible smell in our room he said that he didn’t know about it. That means no help from supervisor.

I have stayed at a few different hotels and motels in Monterey and this is, by far, my favourite! The location is perfect, just steps away from the ocean and cannery row. They provide free parking so you can take a break from driving and walk everywhere! Cannery Row Inn is excellent value for money, the beds are so comfy and the staff are super friendly. Big thanks to Allan on reception for being so helpful and such a ray of sunshine, thanks Michelle

Quiet at night. In the morning, it is nice to be woken up by the sea lions and seagulls. The king size bed with the fireplace and balcony is so worth the additional $. Woke up to a beautiful view and.of the locals walking and cycling on a nearby walking lane.
