Cons: This motel is located on the side of a secondary highway through Montauk so it can be noisy. We stayed in a main floor unit and could also hear the room above us. The bathroom setup is weird, the toilet is separate. The shower is open to the room and so is the sink. There’s a small fridge but no coffee or microwave. The room had particles on the floors and surfaces so it was not spectacularly clean.
Pros: STEPS to the massive and beautiful public beach!!! The room has a massive patio door and some seating. All rooms are overlooking the courtyard. You can’t see the ocean from the main floor, but it’s steps away!
The courtyard has plenty of lounge furniture with a BBQ, fire pit and games to just chill at night with the stars and the ocean. Decent pool area and sauna/showers in the basement with included yoga and massage treatments available on site. You also have access to equipment like bicycles to get around!! Lobby has free coffee and a few free snacks in the morning. The staff were all super friendly and nice.
Location: I would recommend this place if you’re on a budget and want to be on the beach. It is a great location for little shops and restaurants within walking distance. Everything seemed to close early, though. There’s a 7/11 and an IGA close by. Lots of boat tours and whale watching companies not far away! Lots of national parks, lighthouses to explore, as well.
