"LiveMax hotel on Miyajima was a the perfect place for an overnight trip. Perfectly situated close to the ferry station and walkable to all the sights on the island. They rent bicycles if needed. The dinner buffet was insane (mad rush to the sushi and beef for yakitori at the table) but it was a unique experience to say the least. Delicious food provided. "This was a fabulous apartment. It was next to the red light district but like the rest of Japan it was perfectly safe. The one criticism was the access arrangements. There was some difficulty getting a pre arrival booking form which allowed their automated system to send the check in details. We literally only got that when we arrived at the front door. Would definitely stay here again if in Hiroshima. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Itsukushima Iroha. Wish we could’ve stayed longer than one night. Short walk from the ferry terminal. The staff was so wonderful! The snack/continental breakfast room was lovely. Our room was divine! We were upgraded to a sea view room where we could enjoy the famous Torii gate from our window. The hotel was so quiet and serene, even as the streets outside were bustling with island visitors. This stay was a definite highlight of our time in Japan."

"Lovely place on Miyajima away from the busy shopping area but not a far walk from the terminal, maybe 15 minutes and still very accessible to the main shopping street, itsukashima shrine, the rope way all the good stuff if still less than 5-10 minutes walking distance. Very clean, lovely bath and shower facilities very nice after a long day of walking. The people who run it are incredibly sweet and you can see they truly care about your experience. Couldn’t give it higher praise! "
