"Can’t praise this hotel enough. Just across the road from the bus and railway station, this hotel was so convenient and nice. The room was small but fine for a single person, really nice decor and very warm and cosy. The breakfast had a good selection and they even had tea which was very much appreciated. If you’re going to Visp I highly recommend the Baxter!"

"We stayed in the week of the transition, owners taking over the management after a leasing of the property. So, we experienced some of the service issues that one can naturally expect when a new management is arriving. Nevertheless the staff was excellent and predisposed to overcome all those difficulties. Otherwise the location is good and with an outstanding view of the Alps. Overall a very good stay."

"Lovely property and great staff. There is a bus stop near by and they also help shuttle you to the Gstaad train stop. They have a lot of small touches that you don’t find often these days (like in room breakfast option, water and nuts upon arrival. Would stay again for sure! "
