"Nice Hotel but not five star. Rooms in main hotel are probably five star but we stayed in building next door. hotel restaurant was excellent.
Reception and service was unorganised. Not so happy and several errors and delayed check in.
A bit annoying that I couldn’t book extra night for 140 EUR. Instead I had to pay 240 Eur at hotels.com! Only place room was available. "

"This is a gem at the high coast. The owner and her team take great care of every guest providing a grand hotel experience from long gone times. Everything has been exceptional, from the spa with view of the baltic sea to the food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. There is a public elevator that takes you down to the beach."
"Sehr nette Gastgeber, alles vorhanden was das Herz begehrt. Zimmer sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr gut und lecker, mehr geht nicht. Wir kommen sehr bald wieder.

"Super fint lille familiehotel. Vi havde 3 overnatninger på Wald-Hotel, og det kan anbefales. Super rent, god sammenhæng mellem pris og kvalitet. Gode senge og simpelthen super rent. Det er ikke et smart hotel, men du får noget for pengene. Morgenmaden er fin uden at være noget specielt. Hotellet har en super god placering, tæt på alt og alligevel ugeneret. Der er mulighed for parkering, men det koster ekstra. Der skal også betales turistskat. "
"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."
