Mission Beach is a picturesque stretch of sand flanked by cliffs and forests overlooking the vivid blue of the East China Sea. With diving, swimming and Jet Skiing, Mission Beach offers a variety of activities to keep you entertained in the water.
Take a relaxing stroll along the shoreline and admire the scenic ocean views. Stretch out on the sand and bask in the sun, then cool off in the sea within the designated swimming area. If you are feeling energetic, have a go at Mission Beach’s more adventurous activities.
Speed through the waves on a Jet Ski, wakeboard, tube or inflatable banana boat. Venture under the ocean on a snorkeling tour of the coral reefs. Explore deeper under water on a diving trip. Discover brightly colored and exotic marine life, including sea snakes, jellyfish, sea cows and groupers.
Make reservations for all activities through Try Resort Club on the beach. The club also provides wakeboarding lessons and water-based recreations, such as Jet Ski touring, for younger children.
Throw a beach party or have an oceanfront family dinner at one of Mission Beach’s barbecue areas. You will need to reserve your spot with the club at least two days in advance. Rental of the area incurs a fee, which includes all food and equipment. Visit Try Resort Club’s website for fees and more information.

The beach is accessible from early morning until early evening and provides all the facilities you need, including showers, toilets and locker rooms.
Mission Beach is located in the village of Onna in west Okinawa, 32 miles (51.5 kilometres) from Naha Airport. Reach it by bus or car from the airport and park in the metered lot on-site.
