"We where disappointed to say the least with the condition of the property and very disappointed with the fact it was a basement apartment ( which was never mentioned) on arrival we found it dirty and dark . We had to stand on a chair to open the blinds and stretch whilst on that chair to open the window to let the musty smell out. As part of my working life I have to conduct risk assessment,s with this in mind this is unacceptable We went out for a walk when we returned we wanted to shower...

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Very good hotel, super helpful staff, spacious room with 2 king beds. Good breakfast, decent pool. A little tired in places, pool changing areas need a bit of TLC as does bathroom, but all in all great value. "

"We really enjoyed our stay and cannot fault the hotel at all. Lovely modern bedroom. The Garden bar was large with TV screens showing the news and football. If i have a piece of advice, it would be to be reminded that there is an extra cost to use the pool area. This is currently £20 per person for 2 hours. This has to be booked, you cant just walk in. Once you are aware of that, then there are no surprises. This is quite different than lots of hotels and can add quite a lot to your original room price. Saying that, the spa / pool area is really nice and includes a steam room, sauna, hammam"

Wonderful experience

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. The spa facilities were a highlight of our stay, providing a serene escape with a range of treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Dining at the hotel was also exceptional, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes.
