"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"Nice 300 year old cottage in the countryside. Modern kitchen and extension also nice. Small garden suitable for a dog. Owners were responsive to questions."

"Couldn't control heating yourself which meant it was always cold in the cottage "

"Very shabby inside, dirty furniture,unhygienic kitchen and no hot water in shower or bath.The shower also leaked from the wall fitting and gushed down the tiles.The carpets were dirty giving accomodation unpleasant smell. We decided to leave early but hosts didn't bother to ask if everything was ok. Would definitely not return!!!!"

"We loved the property - small but perfectly formed! It was in ideal location for visiting Dorset with day trips easily accessible; Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach, Poole, Dorchester, Swanage and Corfe Castle to name a few. Lots of National Trust properties to visit too - particularly for Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence. We found wonderful gardens - The Walled Garden at Moreton, and Sculpture at the Lakes was truly spectacular! We couldn’t have received a warmer welcome from the owners and glad we...

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "
