"This is an older Hotel that feels like its prime time was in the 1970's and has never left that era and that was perfectly fine by us! This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! The attendant grabbed our bags and lead us to the desk where we checked in and did so in perfect English. We were given our kimonos to wear during our visit which we did. We booked half board we got a nice 5 course dinner and breakfast. The outdoor...

"Unpleasant odour in room. Duvet over sheet. Duvet used by previous occupants smelled of BO. Bathroom very cramped. Toilet and sink overflow dirty. Bed and pillows very hard, unable to sleep. Chairs badly stained. We regret wasting our Hotel.com rewards on this hotel. The photos advertising this hotel very deceptive. Can’t fault staff. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is an older hotel but absolutely blew us away with the room and service provided. The room was huge, had everything plus more. The room service was top notch and housekeeping A grade. As foreigners who couldn’t speak Japanese we’d like to thank the hosts of this hotel for your utmost patience with us. "We are a family of 3 staying in a business hotel and while the service of the check-in staff can be improved, the room size and proximity to the train and bus stations win us over. Plus my train-loving son enjoyed watching the train leaving the station from the window. That also means that if you are a light sleeper, do request for a room away from the train station. It is not super loud, but you definitely know it when there is a Shinkansen passing by. "
