"Property is great! Very clean , well tended, rooms are spacious and well equipped. Only drawback is that in winter season their restaurant is closed so we had to get food elsewhere."

"The Fremont building has has all wallpaper removed from the hallway and new carpet placed in hall and guest rooms paper removal sadly I feel took away from the the charm the motel once had feels much more clinical in my opinion. Just white walls and nothing more leaves it feeling incomplete perhaps some photographs in entry and down the halls. The front needs a couple benches or something so people have a place to sit and relax. Every exterior light minus the one on the roof do not work makes the building feel closed. The pool has high extension on the gates as to I assume keep people out after hours. Parking lot could use a refresher of blacktop and landscape needs some love it is off season though Lobby snack area and gift shop almost looks like it's closing up and breakfast minimal but again off season. In room glad to see better cable tv. However no comforters on the beds and 2 rather flat pillows on the beds. Looks like new electric bed skirts one lamp shade broken and clock not plugged in or set. Like the new locks on the doors (no more key insert) on the inside however the handle to exit the room is on sideways not very user friendly in my observation minor dusting needs and scuff marks on the door the TV remote had a huge glob of what looked like jam or something that was gross but housekeeping took care of it when we asked them to ckean it. Need green tea or something other than just black tea All in all not the best but better then a motel 6 so not the worst."

"The basic loft room I got is pretty well maintained, clean and spacious. The location is very convenient to go to the Yosemite National Park. The only downside is no good food options in the area, and not a fan of the hotel restaurant. Overall a nice stay."

"Quaint and comfy room in the trees. Beds were very comfortable and the staff was accommodating. We stayed one night to hike in Yosemite and it was close to the entrance, which was very convenient - it’s only 12 min drive from Maroposa Grove entrance. "
