"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "

"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"This was our second time here. We felt so rested the room was so comfortable,. Everything was above expectation and didn't disappoint, I love the bed, slept like babies. My husband and I are tall people and we felt like ants in that bed. It was so damn comfortable and bathroom was so classy with everything you need and everything was of good quality not the dry stuff that leaves your skin itching. "This hotel is very central for shopping or a visit to the cathedral and old town. The room and bathroom were small but well arranged and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, with excellent linen. The room had a floor to ceiling window which looked over the roofs to the churches in the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good coffee and apples were provided for all in the small foyer area throughout the day. I did not have breakfast but the dining area upstairs looked nice. An upgrade to more fluffy and thicker towels would be good and at least one thinner pillow. However, for me, this was an excellent hotel. "

"Amazing stay at this hotel just after Christmas. Perfect location to explore Bruges on foot. Our room was massive which was a lovely surprise! And the breakfast was delicious - hot buffet (bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes), fruit, cereal and an amazing bread and pastry selection. We parked at the station and got the free shuttle bus into the main square, then only a 5 minute walk. Will definitely book again when I’m in Bruges! "

Lovely hotel, excellent staff - silly charges.

"Wonderful hotel, city centre location, excellent staff, lovely well appointed room. It is a particular bugbear that when you stay in a hotel with facilities, you are charged to use them. We booked a massage, we had to pay not just for the massage, but to use the 'spa' - a sauna and steam room. I understand paying if you are not a guest of the hotel - but as a guest, it annoys me and frankly I don't return to any hotel which applies this policy. "
