"I had wanted to stay here for a while and finally had the opportunity in mid October. Definitely a shoulder season for the area, I was the only one there for most of my stay. Even so, the facilities were clean and well maintained and the quietness provided exactly what I was looking for. "I loved my room and the balcony overlooking the river. I loved the sound of the river while I slept and I felt safe enough to leave the door open with the screen door there. I loved seeing the bats flying over the river at night. I hope to stay again next July for the Blues Festival. "
