"Overall, my experience was pleasant. However, we had to keep putting water in the back of the toilet to flush. We did not inform the front desk because we did not want to pack our things and move to a different room once we got settled and noticed the issue. We only stayed in the room to sleep so we just dealt with it. Everything else was great, including breakfast which was the best part."

"Spacious rooms, nice staff, and good location, a short walk into downtown. But it’s a little pricey for the overall quality, in my opinion. know some people like the old, classic feel. It’s personal preference, but I would rather stay in a newer property. "After two previous terrible experiences at hotels for our trip we landed here. Dawn checked us in and was so kind to us. She told us she would take care of us and got us a room on the top floor. The hotel was clean and pleasant. It wasn’t a 5-star luxury, but it was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast offered variety with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and all the other continental breakfast staples. This place was a sign of relief after the other hotels we left from earlier. The downside was you needed a car to get anywhere from here, which we didn’t have a problem with because we had a rental. This hotel felt safe and all staff were kind and friendly. I would stay here again hands down. "
