"The staff were really helpful, the breakfast was fabulous. Only one problem, we had a door that adjoinded next door, they were up at 4.30am in and out of their room, opening and closing suitcases which sounded like they were in our room, this went on until 7am (gods knows what was going on in there)."

"Just for context, I booked a £45 room, not a £200 room. Good sized room with a table & 2 chairs a make up table / desk with chair. Yes the room was slightly shabby but everything was clean, everything worked and they had all the items you needed: kettle, tea, coffee etc. hair dryer. There was security on the door and the rest of the hotel was clean & staff welcoming. Excellent central location. Great value for money"

"My expectations were low given the review score, but I was pleasantly surprised and thought the hotel was great value for money. The hotel is a little dated but clean and comfortable and had everything I needed in a hotel on a city break - hot shower, comfy bed, hairdryer… staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great- less than ten mins walk from the main coach station where i arrived and departed from and i loved the area overall - lots of cute independent bars and restaurants in the little streets around it and lots of great street art too. The only thing worth mentioning is to maybe avoid booking the windowless rooms in summer as they’re very warm! I raised this with reception straight away to see if they could cool the room somehow and they kindly moved me to a room with.a window instead. But overall I thought it was great value for money given the price point and would definitely stay there again. "
