"The room was very convenient for visiting the Leonardo museum. There was a restaurant near by for supper. We came by bus so we had to watch the schedule out as it was a Sunday and there were only two buses back. Coffee and tea was appreciated. "

"Charming little room right in the heart of the hilltop town of San Miniato. The checkin was super easy and the room was very spacious and easy to get to right at ground level with a separate side entrance right by the front-desk checkin. Would definitely stay again. "

"This felt like staying as a guest in someone’s home. Hosts Alessandra and Guido are very welcoming. The property is so beautiful overlooking the valley with mountains to the side. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. Lovely pool on site which was a great bonus. The meals are fantastic, home cooked and very affordable. We will definitely rerun with our family for another stay! LOVED IT!!"

"The property is very nice and they keep it super clean. The only issue I had was with regards to parking. The maximum time you can park is 2 hours, so i got a ticket for going over the time. To make matters worst, itwas supposed to be free parking on Sunday, but when I got up they were towing all the cars. Thankfully, my car wasn't towed but I got another ticket. The Toscana village is great - so relaxing

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."
