"very clean.....newer construction....oddly enough, we could hear adjacent room conversation....they werent speaking loudly....we had an adjoining room with door....perhaps that contributed to hearing the adjacent room conversation....just a bit unexpected.....we had a premium King room......it was very large, comfortable , nice size bath room , with 1 sink and soaking tub...service was excellent and very friendly"

"We had a wonderful stay at Longfellow! The hotel is gorgeous and they were super accommodating to us and our dog! Communication was easy and prompt. We were surprised to have a complimentary town car they we could book as well! Would highly recommend. Flawless service."

"The only the thing that was wrong was that the clock alarm went off at 6 AM and it took us a few minutes to shut it off. By that time I was wide awake. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the wait staff to make sure that the clock alarm is off when a new guest is coming in."

Hampton Inn Portland Downtown - Waterfront

Met expectations and then some!

"We were very pleased with the Hampton Inn Portland Waterfront. Our room on the 5th floor had a marvelous view of the harbor - we could have spent hours watching the ferries and tugs working! The room was spacious and comfortable and had sufficient linens for the 2 of us. The buffet breakfast offered a large selection of items, but some things (oatmeal, cheese omelets, and baked goods) were pretty mediocre; the waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon were quite good. We applaud the efforts of Hilton to be ecologically responsible - but we do wish paper cutlery in the breakfast area were replaced with bamboo and foam cups in the rooms were replaced with ceramic mugs. The price for our long weekend stay was very reasonable. We will very definitely be back for another stay!"

"We really love this hotel. Always friendly staff, friendly to dogs and always clean. Absolutely love the breakfast, coffee and Tea access as well as danish. Will keep coming back to this awesome Inn in Portland. "
